The Verbund Vaihinger Fachgeschäfte e. V. organizes under the patronage of the city hall, at the first advent weekend for the 40th time the popular Christmas market in Stuttgart-Vaihingen around the city hall, the Vaihinger Markt and SchwabenGalerie. The popular Christmas market in Vaihingen has more than 120 exhibitors and is one of the most attractive and largest Christmas markets, which is run on a voluntary basis. More than 20.000 visitors came to Vaihingen in the last few years and it is expected the same way for this year.
It is the right mix of voluntary-run exhibitors such as associations, kindergartens, schools, private persons and professional exhibitors, what makes this Christmas market so special.
The Christmas market is accompanied by a huge school slideshow in the city hall and last but not least: the Europe-wide unique historical exhibition „Old toy railways in operation” (www.alte-spieleisenbahnen.de) at the BürgerForum at the Schwabenplatz.
